Born in Tamil Nadu, India, Rajaram Guruji comes from a lineage of Hindu Priests spanning six generations. At the age of 5, he commenced his Vedic education at Mela Veda Padasalai (Kundrakudi, India) studying the Krishna Yajur Veda. He continued his tutelage to complete Krishna Yajur Veda Ganantham which is equivalent to postgraduate level of Vedic Studies.
Under the specialised tutelage of direct Guru-Shishya transmission, Rajaram Guruji mastered the Prayoga Paddhati, Vedic astrology, Vaastu and traditional Yoga meditation. Following this, he trained in Saiva Agama at Pilayar Pati Vinayagar Temple under the guidance of the renowned scholar Pichai Gurukal.
Rajaram Guruji served as a priest at Sri Sankara Narayanan Temple (Chennai, India), during which time he was invited to commence employment at Sri Venkateswara Temple (NSW, Australia), in 1999. Following 5 years of service at Sri Venkateswara Temple, he continued work at various temples throughout Australia. In 2006, Rajaram Guruji was invited to perform the consecration ceremony at Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in Camberwell, VIC.
Being the Founder of Sri Sai Siva Vishnu Temple in Hoppers Crossing, VIC, Rajaram Guruji is currently the Chief priest at this temple. His ambition is to guide and educate the Hindu community in the tradition and practices, especially to the younger generation of Australian Hindus, and to show the devotees the true path in reaching God. He is available for the performance of all pujas and homas in homes and is happy to serve the Hindu Community throughout Australia and overseas.
