His attraction to spiritual life began at a very early age. He took up Sanātana-dharma and yoga-sādhanā practice at the age of 13. Some years later he began traveling extensively throughout India, from the Himalayas to the southernmost tip of the Subcontinent, staying in various ashrams and temples, learning practices and philosophy of yoga-sādhanā. In 1998 he received Diksha from the scholar Krishna Kshetra Swami. He studied the Pancharatric ritual in Mayapur, India to develop his knowledge and practice of Archana, temple deity worship. After moving to Australia in 2003 Pandit Parameshvara was a temple priest at ISKCON's rural community of New Govardhana, near Murwillumbah in Northern NSW. He also took part in and helped to organize major festivals and temple consecrations in Australia, India, and Fiji. To deepen his understanding of Hindu ritualism Pandit Parameshvara has continued his study under one of Australia’s most renowned Pandits, Sri Rama Ramanujacarya. Currently, based on the northern Gold Coast, Pandit Parameshvara has been serving the local community of the greater Brisbane area since 2005 by performing all rituals, samskaras, pūjās, weddings, etc. He is appreciated for his thorough and traditional performance of the rituals with a modern approach and explanations.
